Trail route to ideally discover the Sancerrois peak the Sancerre peak, its alleys, its viewpoints, its paths between the vineyards, its infernal descents and its very steep single-tracks. A course accessible to all. Be careful to save a little juice for the final ascent.
After passing in front of Maison des Sancerre you go down rue Porte Serrure which offers you a nice view of the Amigny vineyards. The descent of Chemin des Blanchisseuses then that of Chemin de la Mignonne will have warmed up your thighs. You go back towards the Jacques Cartier stadium then cross the RD 955 towards Le Paradis. A magnificent view towards the peak is offered to you, it is a delight for photographers. You will then go to L'Orme aux Loups massif, its training course and its winding descent shared with the mountain bikers then it is the ascent via Chemin de Pignol.
Return to the start via the small streets of Sancerre. Sancerrois is a hilly region, bordered by the left bank of the Loire. Located in the heart of France, vines reign over the landscape representing more than 3000 hectares in the Sancerre appellation spread over fourteen communes. Imagine the number of smiling winegrowers that this represents, ready to welcome you into their cellar to let you taste their cuvées...
